Abstract

In the production process of television programs, the relative time differences between sound and vision signals are caused by video signal processors, such as a Frame Synchronizer, or a standards converter. Using the measuring method, described in this paper, these time differences can be measured accurately and quickly, including the case that the standads converter from HDTV to NTSC is used in the broadcast chain.
