Evidence of artificial, intergeneric hybrid between Dendranthema grandiflora cv. 'Monaco' and Rhodanthemum hosmariense by using genomic in situ hybridization

抄録

Genomic in situ hybridization made it possible to bicolor separation of the chromosomes of the somatic complement of the artificial, intergeneric hybrid between Dendranthema grandiflora (Ramat.) Kitamura cv. 'Monaco' (2n=52; female) and Rhodanthemum hosmariense (Ball) Wilcox Bremer et Humphries (2n=18; male) using the biotin labeled total genomic DNA of R. hosmariense and confirmed the synthetic cross-hybridization success.
