As language instructors become increasingly involved with computer-based learning (particularly web-delivered learning), many are finding that they are not sure how to make good pedagogical decisions when making or choosing materials. This paper is meant to provide an overview of some recent best practices for e-learning based on solid research and practical experience from the world of corporate education in the hope that it may provide some directional guidance for institutional language instructors.
