Abstract
Four new mexicanolides with a △^<14,15> double bond, named xylogranatins A and D (1-4), were isolated from the fruit of a Chinese mangrove Xylocarpus granatum, together with two known 8,9,30-phragmalin ortho esters, xyloccensins P and Q. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data, especially 2D NMR techniques including HSQC, HMBC and NOESY.
