Abstract
This paper deals with the old manuscripts and drawings on buildings of the Tamura family. The summary is as follows:(1) The Ono clan controlled samurai houses through the lecho and the drawing.(2) The building except the furniture (interior sliding doors, mats, and something like that) was controlled through that.(3) The lechos and the drawings which we are able to know the Tamura's house plan on Bunsei 4(1821)and Tenpo 6 (1835) are invaluable to understand the change of the samurai house of Tamura family.
