キューバとドミニカ共和国のスペイン語  [in Japanese] Spanish of Cuba and the Dominican Republic  [in Japanese]

This work is a Japanese translation of two chapters of John M. Lipski's Latin American Spanish: "Spanish of Cuba" and "Spanish of the Dominican Republic." Each capter is composed of six parts: Historical overview, Extra-Hispanic linguistic influences, Phonetics and phonology, Morphological characteristics, Syntactic characteristics and Lexical characteristics. Currently in Japan, there are still few works related to Latin American Spanish. I therefore hope that this work will be a useful contribution, and that through Lipski's book, the influence of African and Spanish populations on Latin American Spanish, and the variey and consistency of Latin American Spanish will be better understood.
