Abstract
The agriolimacid slug Deroceras (Deroceras) agreste (Linnaeus, 1758) is newly recorded from Nemuro, eastern Hokkaido, Japan. The species is known from Europe, Central Asia and Russia (including Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands). The Japanese specimens are identified as Deroceras (D) agreste on the basis of external colouration and morphology of the penis and penial appendix of male genitalia.
