Abstract
ラークスパー種子の発芽温度および播種前種子への高温処理による発芽促進効果を検討した.発芽適温は15〜20℃の定温で,15/25℃および15/30℃(いずれも16時間/8時間の変温)でも良好に発芽した.発芽期間の短縮を目的として,播種前種子の高温処理を検討したところ,処理温度は25/30℃(12時間ごとの変温),処理期間は10日間とするのが効果的であった.品種によっては,高温処理で発芽揃いがよくなった.
Effects of cultivation temperature and high temperature treatment on seed-germination of rocket larkspur were investigated. The optimal temperature for seed-germination was 15〜20℃, and high germination rates were also observed at alternating temperature 15/25℃ (16h/8h) and 15/30℃ (16h/8h). Treatment of alternating temperature 25/30℃ (12h/12h) for 10 days before sowing was more effective than those of 25, 27.5, 30 and 25/35℃ (12h/12h) for 5, 15 and 20 days to shorten the period of seed-germination. Using this method, seed-germination of rocket larkspur 'Miyoshi White' and 'Sydney White' became more uniform.
