バーンスタインの「ヤング・ピープルズ・コンサート」にみる鑑賞教育の内容と方法原理  [in Japanese] Content and Principle of Method of Music Appreciation in "Young People's Concert" by Leonard Bernstein  [in Japanese]

バーンスタインの「ヤング・ピープルズ・コンサート」(1958-1970)の映像記録を分析することにより,このコンサートにみられる鑑賞教育の内容と方法原理を考察することを目的とする。まずコンサートを分類し,全体構成を把握する。次に全25巻のコンサートを1)目的と展開過程,2)曲目,3)内容,4)方法から分析する。最後に,目的・内容・方法の相互関連のあり方を考察し結論を出す。内容としては,音楽を創出する基になる普遍的な要素がコンサートの中核的コンセプトになり,その文脈を拡大するところに音楽の多様性と個性を位置づける。方法原理としては,コンセプトに関する構成要素の状況の知覚とそれが生み出す感じの感受を関係づけ,そこに背景となる文化的側面の理解を図るというものである。

The purpose of this paper is to consider the content and principle of method of music appreciation in "Young People's Concert" by Leonard Bernstein through analyzing twenty-five videotapes of the concert. The procedure was to break down by types of concert's theme, to analyze and discuss through the following elements shaping procedure and program in each concert: 1) object and developing stage, 2) music, 3) content, 4) method. The following conclusions were drawn: 1. Content is the context of concepts of elements which generate music. 2. The context of concepts is led from the universe to the variety and individuality of music. 3. The principle of method is the relationship of perception and feeling for music elements, and the relationship involves the nature and culture background.
