Abstract
When the soccer ball is kicked, various stresses are added to soccer shoe. And the transformation is caused in shoe's sole. It is possible that this transformation is controlled by EI (flexural rigidity) depending on the material property and the shape used for shoe's sole. In this study, the relation between the initial velocity of the ball and EI of shoe's sole is clarified by using FEM analysis technology. As a result, it is decided sole stiffness that speed of ball makes the maximum. Moreover, the relation between the material property of shoe's upper-part and the ball restitution property is examined, and the best material arrangement is decided.
