Abstract
Various studies have been conducted to explain the hydrodynamic causes of origin, growth and rupture of saccular aneurysms. This experimental is performed using a model of saccular aneurysms consisting of an arterial bifurcation of 30° -30° with a sac at the bifurcation. Controlled experimental conditions are the Reynolds number (500,1000,1500), the flow rate ratio, in the arterial bifurcations (5:5, 8:2), the shape of saccular aneurysm and pulsation. The flow construction is stable in the case of not symmetrical flow but asymmetrical flow. The velocity in the saccular aneurysm does not depend on the pulsation under any conditions, and it increases as the Reynolds number increases.
