Abstract

A method of 3D-3C velocity measurement by using phase-encode technique is presented in this paper. The intensity ratio of two color laser was related with z-direction. Recording the particle trajectory with 3CCD camera, x-y velocity components was reconstructed by PTV technique. The velocity of z-directions was obtained with calibrated data of relation between the intensity ratio and z-coordinate. The technique was adopted to the rotational Bessel flow. Relatively large particles were used for the measurement. A reasonable velocity field was obtained by using present technique.
