Abstract

Recently, under ground high ways are planned and under construction in urban areas in Tokyo and in another cities. For the underground high ways, ventilation towers are planned and constructed near or in the main road or street canyon above the high ways. The atmospheric environments of the ground level roads are polluted already and the buildings around the ventilation towers some how affect on the dispersion of ventilation gases or gases influence on the neighboring buildings. In this study, a hybrid model which can estimate NO, NO_2 and O_3 concentrations on the nearby buildings around the ventilation tower is proposed.
