Abstract
The Japanese species of the genus Cerodontha are revised. Of the 30 species studied, 5 are new to science, C. (Icteromyza) ecaudata, C. (Poemyza) chonoterminalis and togashii, and C. (Butomomyza) eminula and hakusana, and 4 species are recorded newly.
