Abstract
我々は、記録材料Te-O-Pdを用いた追記型ブルーレイ・ディスクBD-Rの応用検討を行った。500Mbpsを超える高速データ記録チャネルに必要なレーザパルス条件を示して単層BD8倍速記録で実用的な再生ジッタを達成し、また、記録膜材料の透過率設計の自由度を活かして片面4層で100GBの大容量を実現した。更に、メディアに記録したデータの高温高湿環境の加速試験により推定寿命100年以上の長期安定保存が可能なことを示し、本記録材料が、高速化/多層化/保存信頼性のすべての面で優れたポテンシャルを有することを実証した。
We have developed progressive Blu-ray Disc Recordable (BD-R) media based on Te-O-Pd recording material. The necessary condition for data recording at a channel bit rate of over 500Mbps was studied and 8x-BD data recording was achieved. Quadruple-layer disc of 100GB capacity applying high-transmittance thin films of this material was performed. Moreover, the media were revealed to have life expectancy of over 100 years according to acceleration test under high temperature and humidity environment. Thus we have confirmed that the Te-O-Pd recording material has excellent potentials according to high-speed recording, multi-layer stack and storage reliability.
