The lake of the Tsubaki was in the eastern part in the country of Shimohusa. The size was one following the lake of the Hamana. The lake was recliamed at the end of the 17th century and became a big newly recliamed rice field. There is a lot of study about this newly recliamed rice field. However, there is little study of the big landowner who was sprung into the newly recliamed rice field. It became recent and a lot of historical records were newly discovered. This study is using the historical records which were discovered. Then, the big landowner is the one to have made formed circumstances and the actual state of the management clear.
