As an activity of the Special Research Committee on Ubiquitous Computing/Architecture in the Network Era, an interview survey on the influence to buildings by information related technologies was conducted. The subjects were the persons who worked for a long period of time, and actually experienced change and influence in many fields of construction. Mentioned various phenomena were expressed by the network diagram. The following matters were extracted as influence. Reorganization of location, mixture of the use and functions of rooms, creation of advanced information communication environment, improvement in flexibility in comfort and energy saving, etc. Moreover, consideration was added about the prospect of change of the future by the committee.
