Abstract
In this paper, ubiquitous structural health monitoring systems are proposed by means of RFID tags with sensors as a ubiquitous information technology. Here, acceleration sensors are employed and those fundamental characteristics are verified through shaking table tests using a data logging system with wireless LAN which has the same performances as RFID tags, because RFID tags with acceleration sensors are now under development. Furthermore, based on experimental results, some ubiquitous application ideas of structural health monitoring systems of buildings using RFID tags with acceleration sensors are proposed and discussed.
