The Sakata Model and the Progress of the Theory of Elementary Particles(The Jubilee of the Sakata Model)

Abstract

As one of the researchers of the Sakata model from the earliest time, I would like to report about my recollections on the birth, the before and the after, and the impacts of the the Sakata model and about my summary of the activities of the Sakata school. I also would like to add a few remarks on some Sakata's statements.
