The plate bending process is considered as a process to form three-dimensional shapes by introducing the permanent strain (inherent strain) into a plate through proper means. It has been shown that it is very important to utilize both inplane and bending inherent strains for effective bending. The authors have studied the inherent strain necessary to produce the final shape to be formed and the relation between the heating condition and the inherent strain created by single heating line in the previous work. Although the general idea of generating process plan or heating instructions was proposed, the detail was not discussed. Therefore, methods to generate the information on where, in which direction and how to heat are discussed in this report. Their effectiveness are examined through numerical examples.
