中国都市部におけるボランティア活動の特質と可能性 : 参加者・非参加者の比較から  [in Japanese] The Characteristics and Possibilities of the Volunteer Activities in Chinese Urban Areas : From a Comparison between the Participant and the Non-Participant  [in Japanese]

Currently, China is heading towards ageing society in the near future. In the transition from "Danwei (work place) Welfare" to "Community Welfare" on China urban areas nowadays, the anticipations of community and the community volunteer activities that provide welfare service are being demanded increasingly. This article' aim is to analyze the current status and development possibility of community volunteer activities based on the questionnaire survey in Shenyang City of China. Meanwhile, the evaluation of community volunteer activities, the private support and the recognition of role of the administration will be compared the participants (community volunteers) with non-participants (not community volunteers). This article also tried to study the social background and cultural characteristics of community volunteer activities on China urban areas. It confirms that although the volunteer activities in China improved by the policy of the Communist Party or the government, the students and citizens recognize the voluntary character of volunteer activity at least from ideology. The hypothesis that the expectation for the volunteer activities and the role of the administration by the participants is higher than non-participants is verified when the aging problem is becoming more and more serious in the future. Finally, the volunteer activities based on the community is expected to become the chance of the welfare society construction in Chinese urban areas in the future.
