抄録

本論文では，ユビキタスコンピューティングの研究者と緑地計画の研究者のコラボレーションによって，緑地計画における利用を目指した環境モニタリングシステムを構築する研究プロジェクトを紹介する．緑地計画が対象とする都市の自然環境は，高密度なセンサ設置を実現する無線センサネットワーク技術により定量的な観測が可能となる．本研究では，新宿御苑に160 個のセンサを設置して行った実証実験によって，新しい環境モニタリングシステムの可能性を明らかにした．また，本研究プロジェクトにおいて緑地計画の研究者とともに構築した環境モニタリングシステムの機能を紹介し，システムに必要な機能を明らかにする．

This paper presents the collaboration research project between ubiquitous computing researchers and landscape planning researchers to develop the unique environmental monitoring system, which is aimed to be used in a future landscape planning. The natural environment of the questioned city in the landscape planning is able to be studied quantitatively by using the wireless sensor network system that enables the high density placement of sensors. Our research project that placed 160 sensors in Shinjuku Gyoen garden in its field research proved the effectivity of the new environmental monitoring system which uses the ubiquitous computing system. This paper presents the feature of the environmental monitoring system that we developed with a landscape planning researcher and discusses the requirement for the system as well as the possibility of the new landscape planning which was drawn from our research project.
