Abstract
A new type of dust removal equipment of intake screen is proposed. The present equipment consists of blower, plenum, and air ejection pipe. The compressed air is ejected from the hole in the pipe for removing the dust. A calculation model in a compression system is proposed and calculated to predict the transient response. On the other hand the pressure in the pipe line is measured for various parameters such as the shape in the air ejection pipe and the rotor revolutions of the blower with the experimental facility copied the actual equipment. It was clarified that the important parameters in determining the dynamics of the present system are B and h. The shape in the air ejection pipe has a significant influence on the period of the fluctuating pressure in the system.
