2517 相反転方式水力発電機の研究開発(S47-2 自然の流体エネルギー利用技術(水車),S47 自然の流体エネルギー利用技術)  [in Japanese] 2517 Developmemt of Counter-Rotating Type Hydroelectric Unit  [in Japanese]

The counter-rotating type hydroelectric unit, which is composed of the tandem runners and the generator, has been proposed by the authors. The front and rear runners counter-drive the inner and the outer armatures of the generator, respectively. This unit has advantages that the rotational moment hardly acts on the casing and/or the mounting bed. The fundamental performances and the runner design at the best efficiency point were reported. Continuously, this paper discusses the effect of the runner profiles on the performance.
