Micro-bubbles are very small air bubbles and can be generated by the shearing forces. The compact and low power micro-bubble generator using a strong swirling flow and a local shear stress has been developed. In this study, four types of the micro-bubble generator using different shearing forces were installed in order to investigate the characteristics of the micro-bubbles. The results indicated that the different bubble properties were observed in the four types of the generator. Furthermore, the different tendency was observed in profiles of time trace of pH and DO for supplying micro-bubbles using different shearing forces.
