Abstract
In this study, experiments have been conducted in order to improve the performance and the efficiency of Sadatomi's micro-bubble generator. Time-variation in dissolved oxygen in water at different discharged rates of air and water have been measured by changing water depth to the generator. From the variation data, K_La (Volumetric Mass Transfer Coefficient) and E_A (Oxygen Absorption Efficiency) were calculated. In addition, the effect of salty on K_La and E_A have been studied.
