Abstract

This paper deals with an angular velocity control of a hydraulic servo motor system using a Neural Network. In the previous works, it was confirmed that the state feedback Neural Network compensator using angular velocity and pressure as state variables is effective for improving velocity control performance in the hydraulic servo motor system. However, since this system needs several sensors, there is a problem that the system configuration becomes complicated. In this study, the state observer Neural Network compensator is introduced to simplify the system configuration and acquire better control performance. The effectiveness of the proposed control system is experimentally verified for improving steady performance.
