Abstract
When a high-speed train runs through a tunnel equipped with stations, pressure changes and train draft are brought about at the stations. It is necessary, therefore, to predict the changes of pressure and wind velocity for high-speed railways. A computer simulation program of one-dimensional unsteady compressible flow has been developed for the prediction up to about 500km/h of the train speed. This paper presents the calculation method and results of verification by model experiment.
