Abstract
Production characteristic of uniform-sized liquid droplets was investigated experimentally. Liquid droplets from a round nozzle were detected by a laser sensor, and electronic signals from the laser sensor were analyzed by Fast-Fourier Transform (FFT). Characteristics of the formation frequency and the uniformity were evaluated by power spectrum and auto correlation, respectively. Furthermore, diameters of droplets were estimated from strength of the electronic signals. In the case of d=2mm, uniform-sized droplets were formed on high formation frequency between Q=38mL/min and 41mL/min. In this case, diameter of the droplets was approximately 2mm.
