Abstract
The flow changes in weak swirling flow, which are different from those of non-swirling pipe flow, are described. Tangential velocity of a combined vortex upstream changes to that of a forced vortex downstream. Axial velocity distributions which are constant in the entrance region gradually develop into non-swirling pipe flow's downstream. Also, turbulence which is controlled upstream develops far downstream.
