- 536 Motion Analysis for Cruciate Retaining Total Knee Arthroplasty during Walking
抄録
This study was aimed to determine in vivo walking kinematics of 10 subjects having cruciate-retaining (CR) total knee arthroplasty (TKA). We evaluated knee kinematics during walking activity using image matching technique with high-resolutional flat panel detector (FPD). In this study, Femoral component moved a little to anteroposterior and mediolateral. This result suggested that it was caused by shape adaption between femoral condylar and polyethylene insert. Our analysis could reproduce in vivo relation of contact between a femoral component and polyethylene insert on a computer. Kinetic analysis using our method could identify a suitable artificial knee joint, and help to develop sophisticated artificial knee joint.
