Abstract
This paper describes outline of the Ni-MH battery powered tram running test. The Ni-MH battery powered 100% low floor LRV, named SWIMO, is now being developed. This running test is one of the mile stone for SWIMO's development. The test results shows the tram could run more than 10km using onboard battery, without re-charging, free from thermal and pressure failure.
