Abstract
This paper proposes a novel reflectarray antenna based on triple resonant behavior. Such elements provide liner phase property with same slope characteristics, thereby achieving desirable reflection phase over wide frequency range up to octave bandwidth. The usefulness of the proposed three resonant elements is verified by comparing between the calculated reflection phase for periodic reflectarray and the measured one of the fabricated reflectarray. Finally we present an offset reflectarray designed by using the infinite array analysis, and also confirm wide-band frequency characteristics numerically and experimentally.
