抄録

Pleurospermum rivulorum 'Yunnan Qiang Huo' is a Chinese fork medicine used as an antipyretic, analgesic and diaphoretic agent in local areas of Yunnan province, China. We investigated the constituents of the underground part of this plant and reported the isolation of four new bicoumarins, rivulobirins A-D and two new tricoumarins, rivulotririns A and B, and their biological activities. Continued investigation on the coumarin fraction by repeated chromatography resulted in the isolation of four novel bicoumarins, rivulobirin E, cyclorivulobirins A-C, and a new tricoumarin, rivulotririn C. Their absolute stereo structure were established by chemical and spectral evidences including HMBC and NOESY experiments.
