女子大学生におけるMenstrual Pain Vigilance and Awareness Questionnaire (M-PVAQ)の作成と信頼性・妥当性の検討  [in Japanese] Development of the Menstrual Pain Vigilance and Awareness Questionnaire (M-PVAQ): Validity and Reliability in Female University Students  [in Japanese]

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and standardize the Menstrual Pain Vigilance and Awareness Questionnaire (M-PVAQ) designed to selective attention to menstrual pain. 209 female undergraduates completed the questionnaires. Exploratory factor analysis revealed that this M-PVAQ had a 2-factor structure including 'attention to pain' and 'attention to changes in pain'. The M-PVAQ exhibited adequate internal consistency and concurrent validity. These results indicate that the M-PVAQ is reliable and valid for application to the Japanese non-clinical population. The M-PVAQ may therefore be used as a reliable and valid assessment tool in intervention especially focused on selective attention of menstrual pain for female university students.
