In this series of studies, I would like to make clear the meaning of the Earth on Isamu Noguchi's working as to Adele Levey Memorial Playground Project (1961-67, New York). For that purpose, I paid attention to Isamu Noguchi's phases which might be spoken about the concepts of the Earth from 'ARTISTS IN THEIR OWN WORDS:ISAMU NOGUCHI BY PAUL CUMMING,' and organize them according to his view points. In conclusion, I found five view points as to the concept of the Earth: play mountain/playground and New York, play mountain/ playground and topographical work, features of the Earth, the Earth and Art (work), and the Earth and material.
