Abstract
光導波路アレイにおける光波伝搬ダイナミクスの時間反転操作について新しい方法を提案する.これは光導波路アレイを構成する導波路一本置きに位相を変化させる方法である.位相を変える位置を入射端からz=z_0とすると,z=2z_0で時間反転効果が得られる.光導波路が非線形性を有する場合には,この時間反転操作の効果は低下するが反転操作を2回行なうことで反転特性は改善する.
We propose a new scheme that can perform perfect time-reversal operation of the optical wave propagation dynamics in the optical waveguide arrays. The scheme utilizes a staggered 0-π phase-imprinting on the optical waveguides. If the phase-imprinting is performed at z=z_0, the initial distribution of the optical wave is regained at z=2z_0. Although the nonlinearity of the waveguides deteriorates the fidelity of the time-reversal operation, if the two-step phase-imprinting is performed on the waveguide arrays, the time-reversal operation becomes nearly perfect.
