木工業界活性化のためのCADデータの互換性調査と標準化に関する共同研究  [in Japanese] Cooperative study of compatibility and standardization for CAD data suitable for a field of woodwork industry  [in Japanese]

The woodwork industry of Shizuoka has been developed rapidly after 1955 and it becomes one of the most important local industry of Shizuoka. However, demand of woodwork product slows down after an oil price shock because of increment of imported products. This study is aimed for development of conversion software for standardization and formulation of CAD data in cooperation with the woodwork industry. By this study, a company of the woodwork industry can share an order and gets possible to realize activation of the woodwork industry. This paper refers to the process that DXF R12 file format is established as a standard format of data exchange file. Furthermore, the conversion software is developed to standardize CAD data and evaluated effectiveness of converted CAD data. As a result of this study, it is evident that the conversion software is very effective for the woodwork industry.
