Abstract
Laminated materials, such as CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics), attracting attention most are superior in ratio strength, ratio hardness and workability. They are used widely in areas of aerospace, for example. However, delamination destruction is caused by a crack generated during production process or impact strength by a foreign object collision. It has become a big problem that the strength of the material is greatly reduced during destruction. Therefore, it is an important issue to clarify mechanism of shock delamination destruction to perform a material design. In this study, the impact three-point bending test was conducted as the basis to elucidate impact delamination destruction. Displacement of a area around crack tip and specimen center were also analyzed by the digital image correlation method. Furthermore, displacement behavior, dynamic stress intensity factor, dynamic fracture toughness and impact deforming energy were calculated, and it was compared about a impact characteristic of each specimen.
