抄録

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structure of earthquake risk awareness of residents through analysis on a questionnaire survey in the two typical districts in Tokyo: Setagaya and Sumida. Our study focuses on the relation of the risk awareness. of residents and the actual risk of their house, and the preference of the alternative to reduce their risk. In this paper, we clarified the differences dependent on the local characteristics and the universality in these two districts, in considering the measure for mitigation planning, earthquake insurance and retrofit of house.
