抄録

In this study, slope failure possibility is evaluated statistically using existing inspection records for steep slopes through the application of Quantification Theory II, a multivariate analysis method. Then the critical rainfall is given by geomorphologic factors of the steep slope in each record or spatial data and by rainfall factors. The results of these analyses will specify and predict areas prone to collapse danger using real time rainfall data and GIS for evacuation planning. The proposed method will also help to give priority to damage-prone area should be have safety measure. Also, a database is developing to combine spatial data with existing data about potential landslides. This paper also shows how to use existing documents on steep slopes, records of past landslides and rainfall data to manage landslides for municipal governments in Japan. The steep slopes in urban area of Kanagawa prefecture including Yokohama city are taken as an object of this study.
