This paper reports the result of questionnaire survey conducted to find out the situation of disaster prevention plans priscribed by individual private enterprises in Fujisawa City. The surveys on private companies that has been made in the past are basically focused on headquaters of the listed companies or carried out in special occasion, such as after the major disaster. The survey introduced in this paper includes minor corporations, factories, branch offices, hospital and others. In could be found out that 61.4% of the companies own disaster prevention plans but more than 90% of the person in charge feels skimpiness of it.
