ウシ海綿骨の骨梁構造と高速波音速の異方性  [in Japanese] Structure and anisotropy of fast wave in bovine cancellous bone  [in Japanese]

Abstract

In vitro 試料を用いて,ウシ海綿骨中の縦波超音波伝搬現象の解明を行なった.ウシ海綿骨を円柱状に切り出した試料に,PVDFトランスデューサから放射される短い縦波超音波パルスを通過させ,音波の分離現象を確認した.音波の分離は,音波が骨梁の整列した方向に伝搬し,骨体積比が低い場合に観測されやすかった.また,ウシ大腿骨の遠位骨端部の海綿骨は層状の骨梁構造であると考えられた.

Longitudinal ultrasonic wave propagation in bovine cancellous bone was investigated using in vitro samples. Using a short ultrasonic pulse in the MHz range, we have observed the wave separation into slow and fast waves. The wave separation depended on the bone structure. We could observe the wave separation in the samples with comparatively low BV/TV and with well aligned trabeculae. From ultrasonic measurements, the effect of bi-axial structure of trabeculae was confirmed.
