Abstract

波長1550nmでの伝送損失が0.180dB/km,融着損失も低く陸上伝送路全体の損失を低減可能なシングルモードファイバを開発した.また,従来のSMFと比較して非線形性も低減し,広帯域一括伝送や高速高密度入力およびハイパワー入力による障害回避も容易となる.

Single mode fiber with low attenuation loss as 0.180dB/km at 1550nm with low splice loss has been developed for next generation terrestrial transmission. Its low nonlinearity could also make wideband, high-density transmission easier.
