抄録

The authors report a case of atypical scarlet fever with a characteristic eruption and pigmentation. The patient, a boy, aged 3 years and 10 mouth, who had been suffering from gastro-intestinal disturbance, with sudden fever, had morbilli-like exanthmata all over the body. The eruption consisted of punctate erytherna, which fused into spots of about the size of red beans or lentils. In the course of the disease acute nephritis, skinpigmentation and desquamation were observed. The authors diagnosed this case a atypical scarlet fever from clinical and bacteriological inspections.
