A systematic observation on the cavitation phenomena of a highly skewed model propeller with the skew angle of 60° was carried out in uniform flow in the cavitation tunnel, and its results were compared with those of a conventional propeller and a highly skewed propeller with the skew angle of 45°. This comparison shows the superiority of the highly skewed propeller with the skew angle of 45℃ in cavitation performance.
