10-4 プロペラのキャビテーションにより誘起させる船尾変動圧力の計測例  [in Japanese] 10-4 A Measurement of Pressure Fluctuations Induced by Cavitating Propeller  [in Japanese]

Peculiar phenomena, that a peak of the fluctuating pressure around the stern exists not only on the starboard side but also on the port side, was measured in the cavitation tunnel of SRC. In order to study the reason of this phenomena, fluctuating pressures were measured on the flat plate fitted just above a propeller, with changing σ_N. According to this test result, there appeared sheet cavitation mainly when the propeller blade came to the top and strongly non-stationary cloud cavitation and bubble cavitation when the propeller blade was on the starboard side or port side, which seems to be responsible to this peculiar phenomena.
