11-10 超広幅浅喫水船の推進性能に関する調査研究  [in Japanese] 11-10 Performance of Shallow Draft Ships with Multi-Skeg Stern  [in Japanese]

In order to clarify the effect of frameline shapes and number of screw propellers on the propulsive performance of ships with large beam-draft ratio, several model ships corresponding to bulk carriers with L/B=4.00, B/d=5.00 and C_B=0.80 were tested. This paper deals with the results of these model tests and comparison from the view point of ship propulsive performance.
