11-8 多賀野の方法における船体主要目と船体抵抗の関係について  [in Japanese] 11-8 On the Relationship between Ship Resistance and Principal Dimensions in Tagano's Method  [in Japanese]

Abstract

The Tagano's method is known as one of the methods to estimate resistance of a ship with given hull form. In this paper, the authors examined the availability of the Tagano's formulae concerning to the relationship between ship resistance and principal dimensions by use of the data of Todd's series-60, and by comparing with other methods, i.e., Taylor's chart and SP82. The wave resistance values estimated by Tagano's formulae show similar tendency to those experimentally obtained.
