Usually, current meters of blade wheel type are used to measure the speed of model ships in towing tanks, but it is difficult to keep enough accuracy in the range of low speed. A new method to measure the pulses of the above type current meters was developed in SRC. By this method the resolution of 1mm/sec was realized even in case of measuring intervals of one second.
